People can be kind

People can be rude

People can want to bind

People can be in a bad mood

But no matter how people act

People are just being who they are

But are people willing to make a pact

And can people change

Change who they want to be

Do people stay in a certain range

Is there something to open them up like a key

People can change if they try

But they need support

Or they'll always be dry

In order to loosen up do they need to go to court

Or will that make things worse

And make people proud

When they get a chance will they steal a woman's purse

When they are hurt will they keep their heads bowed

What can we do to help them

Have we been a supporter

Are we the cause of their broken stem

Have we been the judges in that court

Perhaps we do not realize

Who we have been and who we are

Maybe none of us are the perfect prize

I guess who we truly are, is not a star

But one of those people
